Meet The Team

Shannon Chalmers
Founder/Teacher/Owner of Denver Yoga Social
Shannon Founded Denver Yoga Social on the basis of bringing yoga directly to the community. Pairing with local Businesses to bring you more than a yoga class, but an experience. A place you can go and meet new people, a place we can go to to enjoy our community & unite with others.
Shannon came to yoga from a Ballet & contemporary dance backround. In 2016 She completed her first RYT Teacher Training - from there she has taught from Boston - > Milwaukee - > Denver. She believes that every body type is a yoga body. Shannons classes are fun & upbeat. Easily accessible for the beginning yogi, with options that will even challenge some of the more advanced yogi.
Wether you are brand new to yoga, or have been practicing a life time. Be prepared to smile, laugh, & even dance a little during class.

Felicia Carmany
Teacher
Felicia's relationship with movement began at a young age. Throughout her life she has been heavily involved in gymnastics, powerlifting, and martial arts, while often incorporating Yoga into her routine. After a painful back injury at age 25, Yoga became an everyday practice for Felicia. As she dove deeper into a consistent practice, she found that Yoga was not only movement, but meditation.
In early 2020, Felicia was formally trained and certified in Koh Phangnan, Thailand. For the past two and a half years she has been teaching across southern California and now Colorado. She is passionate about connecting with students and offering a sense of joy in community. In her flows, you will experience a challenging blend of meditation, breathwork, and strength.

Kelsey McDuke
Teacher
I completed my 200 hour teacher training in Nashville as a way to further my own personal practice. My teacher training was the first time I ever walked into an actual yoga studio and I am still rarely found practicing in a studio.
Yoga has helped me learn to better listen to my body and mind. A typical class with me will focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone to challenge themselves and learn compassion for where they are in the moment. Utilizing the asana practice and mobility focused movements my hope for all who join a class is to leave feeling a greater appreciation for their body and mind.

Erin Tully
Teacher
Maintaining a beginner's mindset allows me to meet my students where they are in their unique, multi-dimensional wellness journeys. I emphasize not taking oneself too seriously and try my best to nourish a sense of community amongst my students. We may be doing yoga on the mat, but it is an all-encompassing, ancient practice that can be applied to the daily off-the-mat lives of all people. My classes have opportunities to learn that welcome all levels and the potential to have fun is woven into every moment. Let's find comfort in discomfort to grow through what we're going through!
