Shannon Founded Denver Yoga Social on the basis of bringing yoga directly to the community. Pairing with local Businesses to bring you more than a yoga class, but an experience. A place you can go and meet new people, a place we can go to to enjoy our community & unite with others.

Shannon came to yoga from a Ballet & contemporary dance backround. In 2016 She completed her first RYT Teacher Training - from there she has taught from Boston - > Milwaukee - > Denver. She believes that every body type is a yoga body. Shannons classes are fun & upbeat. Easily accessible for the beginning yogi, with options that will even challenge some of the more advanced yogi.

Marco DiFerreira
Teacher

Marco was exposed to yoga at a very early age when his dad was trying to quit smoking and look him along. Since then, yoga has helped him to be more in touch with the world and the idea of always evolving to discover the joys and mysteries of life.
Through the movements and practice of yoga, Marco was able to experience the healing
powers of yoga, which allowed him to avoid back, neck and knee surgery due to injuries.
Being also a musician, he brings his artistic passion to the ancient practice.
Marco believes that yoga is much more than uniting mind, soul and body. Yoga is a lifestyle to be practiced and learned on and off the mat. It keeps us present in the moment every time we remember to breathe.
As we advance in our yoga practice, we increase our sense of community, compassion, inner peace and joy. By incorporating his own live music in class during shavasana, Marco strives to inspire his
students and infuse their practice with creative energy.

Megan Smith
Teacher

Megan’s journey with yoga began with a deep calling to heal and reclaim her life after years of
struggle with cyclical habits, anxiety, and depression. Through the practice, she found a union of
mind, body, and spirit that allowed her to tap into her infinite potential and become the co-creator
of her reality. After completing her 200-hour training at Front Range Community College in
2015 and 300-hour at The River Yoga in 2016, Megan
fosters spaces for others to discover their true nature
and expand into their fullest selves. In her classes,
students are invited to ground down, breathe deep, and
move through the practice with intention. She believes
that the insight we cultivate on our mats is a roadmap to
be applied to our daily lives as we navigate our messy,
but beautiful, human existence.
